A Few More Things To Tell You
A BIG Warm Welcome to Our Team!
from Albie Derbyshire and your whole GDI Team Elite family.
Your Link and Your Team Leader
As a reminder, your new team link will be emailed to you when you REQUEST IT. Make sure to use that link when advertising around.
THIS IS IMPORTANT TO READ:
Your link is connected to the team leader's link, and your team leader will track it each week to see how you're doing. If you want to know how many hits you have each week, please send in an email and simply ask.
It's your communication with your team leader each week that makes the team remember each other and see who's really working hard! So don't be afraid to ask. Don't expect your team leader to do all the work for you.
By promoting the leader's link, you will be given your 6 members in the proper course of time (as you also go through the Steps to Six Figures Training and get 1000 hits a week to help support your team and help bring in new members for the team).
Two Important Factors
There Are Two Important Factors Here
The first is supporting the team and helping new members become team leaders, just as we will help YOU as a team too!
The second is the IMPORTANCE of growing and learning real marketing skills. That's why the “Steps to Six Figures” was created. If you don't focus on learning the 6 Critical Skills, you will fail online (it doesn't matter what business you join or what “amazing” things they offer).
If you learn these skills, then you will eventually succeed, not only in GDI, but in any other online business you put your mind to.
Then, as a new team leader, your team will be promoting YOUR link and building YOUR email list, and you will be earning from each member you place under your team members, too. :)

My Story
A True Story: The 6 Critical Skills
When I first started GDI Team Elite, I honestly had no idea how powerful it was. But it changed my life. It did this because it implemented real marketing skills that my mentor was teaching me as well. Let me explain in simple terms:
1
Critical Skill #1: Effective Advertising
I began sending out my ads and getting 1000 hits a week for my team. I did this for many months, and eventually, as I went through the training, I got my first member placed under me.
As I continued learning, I realized that the more hits I could get for my team (and then, when I became a team leader, for my own team), the better. So I pushed myself to get 3000 hits a week as I got better and better. It didn't happen overnight!
2
Critical Skill #2: Effective Capture Page Creation
As a team leader, I realized that the more interesting and captivating my ad pages were (capture and splash pages), the more subscribers I could get to build my list. Soon my team was helping me build my list as well.
3
Critical Skill #3: Effective List Building
My team leader showed me the importance of building a list with a good autoresponder. I began with TrafficWave and built a list to 300 there. But eventually I realized that the HBA Emailer was much better because of something called “single opt-in.” It also had much better deliverability (which I knew nothing about as a new leader).
The HBA Builder helped me to develop my skills at building effective capture pages, so I could capture my audience's attention and get more and more subscribers to my list. And the bigger my list became, the more responses I got from it.
4
Critical Skill #4: Effective Communication with Your List
I didn't realize until I had a growing list in my autoresponder that there is a key phrase responsible for catching the attention of the reader and encouraging them to RESPOND back to you (the team leader). It wasn't until this point in my journey that I began to get people emailing me back to “send them the link.”
I promptly did exactly that, and as I got better at responding to my subscribers (from the “Steps to Six Figures”), things began to change. Soon, I was getting a new paid member joining my team each week (this was really new for me back in 2018).
When I realized that I was doing this consistently, I knew that I could get better and better (and I did), and soon my team was getting larger and larger. It went from 6 in June, to 35 in August, to 65 in December, and by the end of the following summer, I had hit over the 100 mark. You can do the same. But it takes time and training to develop your mind, marketing skill level, and leadership skills (reasons we created the Steps to Six Figures Training).
5
Critical Skill #5: Effective Funnel Building
The better I got at marketing and building my team, the better I also began to get at building funnels. Funnels are the way to describe everything that happens to you, from subscribing to a capture page (an ad), going to the “Thank you Sales page” that comes next to share more about the opportunity, the auto emails you get in your email box every day from your sponsor, the procedure that brings you to the point of becoming a paying member, and everything that happens to you after that point.
This is really advanced, so I'm not going to say more about it now, but the Steps to Six Figures Training will explain further as you go from Step to Step!
6
Critical Skill #6: Mindset (The Foundation)
Honestly, this one may be the most important of all. If you don't have the right mindset, you won't stick around long enough to learn the other five skills. Mindset is what keeps you showing up on the days when nothing seems to be working.
In my opinion, mindset is best defined by two things. The first is the 13 steps to success written by Napoleon Hill in the book Think and Grow Rich. The second is the book The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino, and the 10 scrolls he shares inside it.
If you haven't read them yet, put them on your list. They are a great place to start building your mind.

“Successful people just master the basics.”
(paraphrased from Jim Rohn's quote)
You will realize that these 6 Critical Skills ARE the basics. As you focus on getting better at them EVERY DAY, I know and believe that you will find success too (if you're developing your mind and your social skills with it).
I truly hope this has helped you!
